Tickets can be purchased in advance online through our website or in person at the Amelia in the town centre.

Tickets can also be purchased on the day directly from the train conductor at each station (if there is availability). We recommend booking online to secure your preferred time slot.

To simplify the pricing, there are only two ticket options, a full route ticket that takes you the whole route back to where you started, or a half route ticket that takes you half way around (getting off two stops later).

Children aged 18 months and under can ride free on a guardian’s lap. All other passengers require a valid ticket.

It’s important you have your tickets ready for any pre-booked journey. Tickets can be in printed form or digital (received via email or in Google / Apple wallets). Proof of purchase is required to board the train.

The full experience typically lasts around 40 minutes (with 15min-25min for a half route depending on what station the half route starts from).

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled departure to make sure you don’t miss your train.

It’s really important to be at the station on time – the conductor will be ready to check your details but they will not be able to hold the train for you. Missed departures are non-refundable, but at their discretion the train conductor may allow you on a later train if there is sufficient capacity.

Enjoy a scenic journey aboard the Rudolph Runner, with a recorded commentary from directly from Rudolph. You will also be offered a free activity sheet to help tick off when you find Rudolph’s fellow reindeer across the route.

Yes! It’s a family-friendly attraction suitable for all ages.

Unfortunately this train is not accessible for wheelchair users (please note, if we are able to repeat the Rudolph Runner experience for 2026, a fully accessible experience will be an aspiration).

Small or medium sized buggies are allowed on the train, but they must be folded down to be as small as possible.

Light snacks and bottled drinks are allowed. However, please help us keep the train clean by disposing of waste properly.

Unless extreme weather makes the journey unsafe the train will be operating. It’s important you follow @rtwtogether on Instagram as information on any cancellations would be posted there.

Unfortunately, tickets are not able to modified once purchased.

In the unlikely event of the train being cancelled you will be entitled to move to another journey of your choice, subject to availability, or if desired a full re-fund will be available.

Each train station will be marked by a large human sizes nutcracker with poster board clarifying information about the journey.

The train departs from the Pantiles (near the entrance to the Corn Exchange), the High Street (approx. half way up), Calverley Precinct (near Waterstones) and Calverley Grounds (near the ice rink and main entrance).

Yes, there is parking across a number of town centre car parks near to each station including the RVP shopping centre, Crescent Road, Great Hall Arcade, Torrington, Linden Road and Pantiles car parks.
