REMEMBRANCE

CLOCK TOWER REMEMBRANCE DISPLAY

CALVERLEY PRECINCT, NOVEMBER 2021

The RTW Together Business Improvement District counted down to the period of Remembrance for 2021 with a large-scale display in Royal Tunbridge Wells town centre. The BID will dress the clock tower in Calverley Precinct in a striking collection of artificial poppies and autumnal foliage, cascading down the legs and onto the base of the landmark

BID Director for RTW Together, Sarah-Jane Adams, explains “Remembrance is always an important time of year, and this year perhaps more than ever, we have reason to stop and reflect on not just those we’ve lost recently, but those who came before and the contribution that the Armed Forces have played for all of us, throughout history and still today. We hope this display will be a poignant way to mark the changing of the seasons, pay our respects to those who have and continue to serve their country, and provide a beautiful point of interest for the top end of Tunbridge Wells town centre.”
